BREATHWORK
'By breathing in a certain way for some time, our cells receive an abundance of oxygen. Endorphins are released and give our system a subtle buzz of happiness. The physical processes this initiates are crucial for eliminating impurities from the body. They also help to purify our body on an emotional and mental level, creating space for connection with your true self.'
The breathwork I offer is inspired by, among others, the work of Leonard Orr, Michael Brown, Peggy Dylan, Giten Tonkov and of course my own explorations in this.
This form of guidance has seen an enormous boost through Leonard Orr. It was developed by him from a deep interest in the influence of our deepest beliefs on our lives.
During the period in which he further developed this interest, Orr spent a lot of time in bathtubs, where he regularly received experiential memories from the period around his birth. After several years of researching his own process, he also started to apply this form in guiding others, with the intention of awareness, purification and healing.
This work assumes that unprocessed or not yet fully processed experiences are stored in our subconscious. And that as long as they are suppressed, these can strongly influence your well-being.
Because these experiences are connected to limiting beliefs, feelings and body sensations, you unconsciously keep repeating them in the here and now. This can create patterns that can really get in your way.
A guided breathwork session consists of connected breathwork with an intuitive blend of intention, subtle movement, touch, nature sounds, expression and silence. Purification sentences can be included in the process as inner mantras.
On the one hand, breathwork is aimed at nourishing, restoring and optimizing the connection with your true self. On the other hand, it is aimed at purifying the limiting energy.
This interaction and consistent practice creates the inner security that is essential for sustainable integration work.
