Mamoko may collect personal data in various ways. This privacy statement explains how your data is collected and how it is handled. It explains where your data is stored and for what purposes. It also outlines all your rights regarding your data and how you can exercise those rights. 

1. Who is Mamoko and where can you ask your questions? 

Mamoko is a company for nature-based guidance / therapy founded by Silke Devriese on May 5, 2022.

2. What data is collected, how long is it retained, and for what purpose? 

Your data will be retained by Mamoko for an extended period, but only as long as necessary for smooth communication and collaboration with you as a customer. This data will not be shared with third parties. Below is an overview of the data Mamoko collects: 

  • Contact form: When you contact Mamoko via the contact form, your personal data (name, email address, phone number, and message) is collected on the web server. 
  • Email traffic: When you contact Mamoko by email, the data you send is automatically stored on the mail server. 
  • Web traffic statistics: The web server collects web traffic statistics. This data is anonymous and therefore not linked to your personal information.

3. Rights 

As a visitor and a customer you have rights relating to your personal data: 

  • Right to access: You have the right to request access to your data stored by Mamoko at any time. 
  • Right to rectification: Is your data incorrect? Or has your data changed? You have the right to have Mamoko rectify this. 
  • Right to data portability: If you need data stored by Mamoko in the event you switch to another service, you have the right to data portability. 
  • Right to erasure: If you no longer want your data stored by Mamoko, you have the right to have your data erased. 
  • Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint if you believe Mamoko is not handling your data correctly. 
  • Right to object to data usage: If you do not want Mamoko to use your data, you have the right to stop the use of your personal data.

You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@mamoko.be and sending a copy of your identity card with the photo, card number, and the numbers on the back of the passport redacted. I will process your request within 30 days of your identity being verified.

4. Obligations 

The data requested by Mamoko is the minimum required for smooth communication and collaboration with you as a customer. If this data is not provided, Mamoko cannot guarantee smooth communication and collaboration with you as a customer. 

5. Data Security 

Your data is stored only in the aforementioned systems. The personal data generated in these systems can only be accessed via a password-protected login process. 

This statement may be amended to better align with the company and its developments, as well as any changes in regulations. This privacy statement was last amended on 26 january 2024.
